Drs Roy and Marceline Luck
I would like to acknowledge the impact and influence of Drs Roy and Marceline Luck, my parents. As GPs working side by side and with a marvelous community, hospital and general practice team, they provided comprehensive whole-of-life care to the town of Cooroy, Queensland, and its surrounds, for the best part of 40 years. Hard-working, intelligent, innovative, highly skilled and courageous, they are gone but not forgotten.
Theirs are the shoulders upon which I stand.
I acknowledge my hard working practice team and loyal patients who constantly challenge, inform and inspire me to do the best I can.
I acknowledge my eagle-eyed editor who corrects my spacing and spelling, helps me tag and for whom this is personal.
Lastly, I would like to acknowledge the incredible hive mind that is GPs Down Under, a private Facebook page. So many inspiring, generous, knowledgeable, opinionated GPs. Without their feedback, support, contribution and encouragement, this site would simply not exist.

I acknowledge the traditional owners and in particular the Turrbal and Jagera peoples as the traditional custodians of the land, waters and sky in the places where I live, work, study and play.
